(The Day Before the Funeral)
A lonely man falls asleep on a bench after a kid steals his slipper.
In his dream he sees himself in a mysterious landscape.
When he wakes up he has a conversation with a bartender and something is revealed about the man.
The film was made during a workshop with Werner Herzog and his longtime cinematographer Peter Zeitlinger. Mr. Herzog called the film "very well written, laconic and deeply moving."
It screened in competition at the Norwegian Short Film Festival.
